Modular Micro Jewelry Case

Project type

Packaging

Concept
A compact character inspired jewelry case designed to house a single pair of earrings while allowing interior modularity for future configuration options.

Design Challenge
The enclosure needed to integrate a discreet rear pressure access point, maintain secure closure, and support a removable internal insert without compromising structural integrity or external proportions.

Technical Execution
The case was modeled in CAD as a multi component snap fit assembly, enabling multi color printing and clean part separation. A removable internal earring holder was engineered to seat securely within the cavity while allowing the exterior shell to function independently as a standalone storage box. Tolerances were refined to ensure smooth assembly and repeatable fit across components.

Outcome
The final prototype demonstrates small scale enclosure design, snap fit architecture, and modular product thinking, with expansion potential for alternate inserts such as ring specific configurations.
